EconCore‘s unique honeycomb sandwich technology allows for efficient production of honeycomb sandwich materials in a cost-effective process. Within the integrated process, cost-savings follow the weight-savings of the honeycomb sandwich design.

EconCore licenses the technology for large volume production of sandwich panels (current world wide spread licensees operate in sectors of automotive, B&C, transportation (truck & trailers), packaging, furniture, …).

The sandwich panels with glass-fiber/thermoplastic composite skins are a highlight of recent developments.

For smaller and medium volume applications, EconCore (thru its daughter company ThermHex Waben) provides PP honeycomb core for off-line lamination of skin layers.
